Can’t wait to see you then!
shaping the music industry differently.
random accessory media (ram) is an independent record label operating out of the heart of midtown manhattan, new york city. we exist to bridge the gap between massive corporate machines and the independent producers making the most innovative music in their bedrooms.
being based in nyc keeps us at the center of the global music ecosystem. we stay plugged into the industry core while scouting for unpredictable sounds from the global underground. we believe that location matters because energy matters.
we are tired of potato quality music. our mission is to scale genre fluid artists who prioritize clean professional and hard hitting production. if a track does not give us an ear-gasm, it does not enter our system.
in an industry increasingly flooded by ai slop, ram stands firm as a human only label. we follow the 2026 industry shifts and the human led focus of platforms like bandcamp. we sign artists not prompts. every release on ram is 100 percent human authored and human processed.
we believe in partnerships, not ownership.
Submit your 24-bit WAV through our submission portal. If it hits the "Ear-Gasm" threshold, and you aren’t acting disrespectfully, we’ll reach out. No Hotmail, no MP3s, no AI slop.
You must be 14 or older to submit your music and communicate with us directly. But if you are under 18, you require a guardian or parent as your co-signer to sign the agreement contract.
If you are under 18, we legally cannot send royalties directly to you. Your parent or legal guardian must be involved in the payout process. Once you hit 18, you have full autonomy over your funds, it takes 30 days to receive your funds.
No, your masters will not be taken forever, we keep your masters for 1-3 years, but sooner than 10 days if you request an R-BMR.
Yes, there is a contract, you need a parent to co-sign the agreement, otherwise if you sign it without a parent and walk away, we will automatically take down your songs and skip R-BMR, It's mandatory for RAM to do it, if you walk away and void the contract, RAM will take down your songs.
Under 5.2 in our contract form: Choosing Path A (Full Takedown) will trigger a formal takedown. This process takes 10 business days from the date of the request, or choosing Path B (Legacy Model): The song stays live under us to preserve stream counts/playlists. We continue to pay the artist their split as a "Legacy artist."
